Unmissable Sardinia

Sardinia is all about light, colours, contrasts and shades. Whether you arrive by air or by sea,
the sea around Sardinia always makes a great impression thanks to the infinite array of blues, turquoise greens and azures it displays. The waters lap the white beaches that line the rocky gorges, awash with white limestone and red granite. From autumn through to spring, green Mediterranean maquis envelops the entire island, giving way to gradations of yellow during the summer.

Sure to be of interest are the cities of Alghero, Bosa and Castelsardo, which still boast intact Medieval centres. The combination of Nuragic towers, domus de janas (burial chambers), giants' tombs and necropolises makes Sardinia a treasure trove of history and culture.
